TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Eating your food to fast or in hurry considered as a bad habit. Especially if its regarding to your early breakfast. The food wont be digested well in your stomach and could give you bad effects for your health. Here several effects of eating too fast.
1. It could increase your weight
You could easily get hungry when you didn't chew your food well. And it will make you want some more food in consecutive time. And the nutrients wont be absorbed by your body. And will leave fat rather than getting the benefits of eating.
2. Make you have a bloated tummy
Eating to fast could make you have a bloated tummy. Bloating usually happens when excess gas builds up in the stomach or intestines for you eat too fast.
3. Could give you gastroesophageal reflux disease
People who eat their food quickly are more likely to suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It occurs when stomach acids wash up into the esophagus and cause symptoms such as chest pain and heartburn.
3. Choked
You could get choked if you eat in hurry. Bad chewing will leave a piece of food, an object, or a liquid becomes lodged in the throat.
4. Diabetic
The more you eat the more chance for tou to overeat. Iver and eat quickly may cause fluctuations in your blood sugar, which can lead to insulin resistance.
5. Oral ulcers
Eating too fast also will raise the chance of your lips or tongue or even gum get bitten. This what normally cause oral ulcers appears. You better arrange your time to eat and never be hurry. (*)
