The Head of PBNU: Nahdliyin to Have Stronger Way of Thinking

TIMESINDONESIA, SIDOARJO – During the celebration of 1 Abad NU or 100 years of NU or Nahdlatul Ulama the head of PBNU K.H. Miftachul Akhyar appealed the Nahdliyin or NU members to keep a strong mind and way of thinking. This was stated by Kiai Akhyar during the opening ceremony of this event.

The event which was held at Gelora Stadium Sidoarjo has atrracts millions of muslim from across the country and the world to gather and sit together. There they strengthen their believe and listen to hat their religious leaders say. 

During the event Kiai Akhyar also appealed the participants to get their selves ready for stepping the second century of Nahdlatul Ulama. "We have use heart and double brain, If it were a car we have to had two axis to control the body," he said. 

He also appeals everyone to not following the flow those strange thing from outside that will only bring some bad thing to them. And this characters should be followed by all the nahdliyin.

These characters were also shown by most of the Islamic religious leaders and the Prophet Muhammad himself. "If hey are good to you then treat them the way they treat you, but if they were a bad person, stay treat them in good way," The head of PBNU K.H. Miftachul Akhyar said. 

The Kiai expected for a better condition towards Nahdlatul Ulama in the future especially after stepping next on the second century. HE hope the organization will have a better system and always listen to their leader. 

"Thank you everyone, especially those organization I can't say one by one. Thank you for everything. I hope we will be blessed with good health in the future," the Kiai said. 

For your information, the 1 Abad NU celebration was followed by millions of people. They came from neighborhood cities and countries. The President of Indonesia and Vice President were also joining the ceremony, not to mention the ministries. (*)
