Be a Participant for Surabaya Sundown International Half Marathon

TIMESINDONESIA, SURABAYA – The local government of Surabaya  has prepared running competition they called as Surabaya Sundown International Half Marathon. This event was prepared to welcome the new condition after the pandemic lower its spike.

It not sure when will the event held.  But it was planned to be held by this year. This international event expected to be able to gathered at least 5000 participants either from the local or the foreign country.

Surabaya Sundown will bring out several categories such as half marathon, relay marathon, or 5K runs and 10K runs. The local government planned to hold this event for 2 days in a row. "We've been waiting for this chance so long,"  the President Director & CEO of Inspiro Promotor, Ndang Mawardi said.

The track will take some iconic place as the route. Such as those historical 10 November where there was a battle betwenn Dutch and the local fighting over Surabaya, the famous historical Majapahit Hotel, Jembatan Merah and more.

It was expected that Surabaya Sundown International Half Marathon will bring such a fresh air for the tourism industry. The participants were meant to be able to enjoy the beautiful ambience of the city during the competition.(*)
