
TIMESINDONESIA, YOGYAKARTA – Recently, the young generation tend to turn their eyes of the farming industry and change their minds to what they call as a real work in office. This make several farm in the rural area neglected for having less youth to manage the area. And Jogja Youth Farm is trying to solve the issue.
Founded by the local youth community Karang Taruna Yudha Argomulyo Sedayu, Jogja Youth Farm trying to take the youth back to the farm by educating and and transferring their knowledge of farming to another youth.

Located at a land granted by a state-owned enterprise for their Corporate Social Responbility (CSR) program this farm planted with dozens herbal plants, hydroponic plants, rice, fish pool, birds farm, some recycle workshop, and merchandise store.
"Lots of people has visited this place starting from the local house wifes community, some students of local school for their educational tourism and more," Tugiyanto, the chief of Taruna Yudha Youth Community said on Sunday (22/12/2019).
There is also a restaurant provided by the management which using their own product. This restaurant will serve you local delicious food such as grilled or fried fish, fried duck, sauted green leaves, veggie juice and many more.
Jogja Youth Farm also educate their visitors with modern way of farming such as the hydroponic culture. "I just knew that farming could be done in a small area," Verna, a local visitor said. (*)
