Find Tropical River Atmosphere at Kali Cokel Pacitan

TIMESINDONESIA, PACITAN – If you would like to have a nice country side experience by visiting the local river and roam around it, then Kali Cokel Pacitan is the perfect place for you. This river will bring you the true country taste or tropical country.

Located 25 kilometers from the city center of Pacitan, this place has a stunning view of lush green coconut trees around.  You will need around 30 minutes drive to this place from Pacitan. However, those 30 minutes long of drive will mean nothing after you see this tropical beauty.

The water source from a spring water at the local cave the called as Gua Luweng. That’s why, the river has never run out of water even at the worst time of drought. And that might also the biggest reason why this river has a nice clean emerald green water.

Even on rainy days. he water will still looking so enchanting with green colors. Not to mention all those coconut trees reflection from the surrounding area. So make sure you bring your camera with you to capture all those beautiful moments.

As for enjoying this river, you could take a canoe to tour around the river and admire its surrounding beauty. You will find some locals play at the river bank o do some back flip and just enjoying their country life.

Located at Watukarung, Pringkuku, Pacitan, East Java, you will only need to pay for IDR 5 K or 3 cents for the ticket.  Meanwhile, for a tour with the canoe at Kali Cokel, you will need to pay for IDR 25 K or less than $2 for 2 kilometers long of tour. (*)
