The tourists in Mount Bromo, can no longer enjoy the beauty of the Teletubbies hill. Because, the condition of the grass which looked green and partially dry, had looked black due to being engulfed in flames.
Sarmin, Head of the TNBTS region I, said, earlier on Saturday (1/9/2018), the fire engulfed the grass in the hills of Savana, which is in the Jemplang area, Malang. Then spread to the Teletubbies hill into the area of Probolinggo Regency.
"Yes, a fire has occurred since Saturday, and until now, it is still happening. The fire spread to the Teletubbies hill on Mount Bromo Probolinggo, "said Sarmin.
Sarmin explained, the fire occurred because of the dry season. But it is not known where the source of fire comes from. The fire spread, also because of the strong wind, so it easily spread.
"The teletubbies hill of burning, we have made efforts to black outs with other related parties. And we made a partition to prevent fire from spreading again, "Sarmin said. (*)
