TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Child of Krakatoa or the local citizen said as Anak Krakatau, which usually has small eruption is now safe to visit. This is due to the information issued by the Geological Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Irna Narulita, Pandeglang mayor said that this has become a fresh air for Pandeglang tourism. Since tsunami that struck Selat Sunda on last December 2018, the tourism has not been recover yet.

"All the stakeholder could inform and take their tourists to come to the Child of Krakatoa, Carita beach, Tanjung Lesung and else and told them that Selat Sunda has been recover and is a safe place to visit," she said.
Still according to her, the tsunami that struck the city has made the local citizen economically decreasing and most of the hotel and restaurant owners ask for lower tax for their place since they got no customers.
The good information about Child of Krakatoa or Anak Krakatau which could be visit by now will also spread by Diskomsantik Pandeglang, to bring the local tourism back to live. (*)
