Taman Pintar Yogyakarta Cooperates with Danone to Renovate Taman Air Menari

TIMESINDONESIA, YOGYAKARTA – Taman Pintar Yogyakarta reestablished Taman Air Menari in this educational tourism place. They cooperated with Danone Indonesia to renovate this attraction to give the chance to children to explore the outside world, as well as to improve their motoric skill and their imagination.

 “Taman Air Menari is the form of our support for Indonesia, especially the children and families in Yogyakarta. This support is also the action of our mission ‘One Planet One Health’, which means to improve world’s health through giving nutrition, healthy hydration, cleanliness and health, and regular activities,” said the Sustainable Development Director of Danone Indonesia, Karyanto, on Tuesday (2/7/2019).

Karyanto stated that according to the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) 2018, 33.5% of Indonesian people above 10 years old are not physically active.

In fact, physical activity is essential for body health as it could improve the gross motor skill, fine motor skill, and nutrient absorption that are needed for growth.

 “That’s why, we always try to provide the playing facilities that could give the children the chances to have physical activities. Taman Air Menari is the part of the educative attraction partnership between Taman Pintar and us,” he said.

Taman Air Menari is an outdoor playground of Taman Pintar, in which the children can play any water games.

 “Thanks to Danone Indonesia that has helped us reestablish Taman Air Menari.” Said the Head of Tourism Office of Yogyakarta, Maryustion Tonang.

Tonang stated that Yogyakarta should improve its tourism attractions in order to increase the number of visitors.

“Yogyakarta is improving its tourism destinations in order to increase the number of the visitors. Therefore, we should appreciate the innovation of Taman Air Menari at Taman Pintar Yogyakarta as it could add the value to Yogyakarta tourism,” he said. (*)
