TIMESINDONESIA, BLITAR – There is a unique café in Istana Sakura, Blitar named Sakura Café. In this café, you can find Japanese culinary menu, such as sushi, ramen, teriyaki katsu, and ocha, but with Indonesian style.
“This café has the concept of Japan. Therefore, we serve Japanese culinary, but with Indonesian style,” said Chef Dhani on Wednesday (24/7/2019).

According to Chef Dhani, the sushi served in this café uses shrimp as the filling, and uses sausage and rice as the topping.
“We cannot use salmon fillet as the topping because most of them are not fresh from the ocean. We use chicken meat for teriyaki and katsu,” he added.
Besides, Sakura Café also serves Ocha, the authentic tea of Japan that has special taste. Chef Dhani orders the ingredients directly from Japan.
“The average price per portion is IDR 15,000, IDR 20,000 for sushi, and IDR 8,000 for ocha. They are very cheap compared to the ones in Japan,” he said.
