Watch These Grapes Grow All Around at Kampung Anggur Bantul

TIMESINDONESIA, YOGYAKARTA – If foreign countries had grapes farm for their wine, then Indonesia has Kampung Anggur (Grape Village) for their tourist destination. The Kampung Anggur is located in Sumbermulyo, Bambanglipuro, Bantul, Central Java.
The local government of Bantul utterly support the village to develop the agro tourism by giving the village more grape trees to be planted on the area.

The grapes are the local variety which has a bit of sour taste yet very sweet. The variety are Janetes SP1, Probolinggo Super, Prabu Bestari, Jaestro ag60, dan Jaestro 86 which known to have more advantages than the one from the foreign countries.
"Surely, it will be more fresh than those we get from the foreign country, since those grapes from foreign countries has been stored in the container for a long time," Hardiyanto, The Head of the Research and Delvelopment Department of Indonesia said.
To prepare themselves on welcoming more visitor to Kampung Anggur (Grape Village) Bantul, the local management planned to add more facilities such as a bigger parking lot, and more direction to the place. (*)
