Applying Safety and Sanitation SOP, This Hotel in Surabaya is Safe to Visit

TIMESINDONESIA, SURABAYA – The Coronavirus pandemic has caused the decrease of the number of visitors in hotels around the globe. However, in spite of this circumstance, there are several hotels that are safe to visit as they apply the safety and sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), such as a hotel in Surabaya, Oakwood Hotel.
Although the number of occupants in this hotel has reduced drastically since the last March, this hotel is still running its business.

“In anticipation of this outbreak, we always apply safety and sanitation SOP, social distancing, and wear masks. We have provided non-contact infrared thermometer and hand sanitizer at the entrance door. We also disinfect all the hotel area,” said Subandi, the General Manager of Oakwood Hotel, on Thursday (9/4/2020).
Although the hotel occupants have decreased in number, but the hotel has to be aware of every opportunity and survive. The hotel may save up some budgets but it always tries to prioritize the guest satisfaction.
During this #stayathome campaign, this hotel applies proactive customer service and offers F&B promotion for food delivery. Oakwood Hotel also provides Work From Hotel promotion for the companies who are still running their business. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are also provided by the hotel with the price range starting from IDR 1,000,000 / night.
“We are concerned about this situation. Therefore, we have to stay safe and healthy. We also support Work From Hotel campaign by providing facilities needed by the workers,” said Subandi. (*)
