Telaga Sarangan has been Officially Reopened for Public

TIMESINDONESIA, MAGETANTelaga Sarangan or Sarangan Lake, one of tourist destination in Magetan of East Java has been officially reopened since Monday (22/6/2020). On its first day of its reopening there are no much people visiting this place.

This lake has been closed for public for around 3 months for the pandemic. “We will limit the number of visitors entering the lake. I’m sure that the community especially the local has been longing to visit this place,” The Mayor of Magetan, Suprawoto said.

Suprawoto also emphasized all the hospitality business along with the visitors to follow the regulation to prevent the virus spread and making a new cluster. He also appeal everyone to wear a mask not only when they go to tourist destinations but anywhere they go.

Meanwhile according to the Head of local Tourism Department of Magetan, Venly Tomi Nicolas, this lake will have probation time for about 3 months of opening. They will apply a strict Covid-19 protocol standard during this time.

Still according to him, the management has set the line in front of the ticket box to become a physical distancing area. “their body temperature will also be checked, and they must to wear a mask to enter Telaga Sarangan (Sarangan Lake),” The Head of local Tourism Department of Magetan, East Java said.
