UIN Malang will Open Islamic Study Major for PhD Program

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – UIN Malang planned to open the Islamic Study Major for PhD Program by this year. This plan has been established since the end of 2020. They even have made the letter to make this big dream came true.  

“The letter has been processed and the school will be opened by this year.  That’s our postgraduate program hold a meeting before the plan realized,” Prof Dr Umi Sumbulah M.Ag, the Director of Postgraduate Program of UIN Malang said.

The online meeting was followed by several other Respected Professor such Prof Dr HM Amin Abdullah MA, the Respected Professor of UIN Sunan Kalijaga and Prof Dr Masykuri Abdillah MA, the Respected Professor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah.

The meeting was packed in form of a workshop. All the people including those Respected Professors joining the meeting shared their thoughts and opinion about the new major.  

The two professors gave their experiences and skills in handling Islamic Major for PhD program. “Their experiences and skills in handling Islamic Study Major will help us in developing this new major we have,” Sumbulah said.

In particular, this Director of Postgraduate Program of UIN Malang believes that the Islamic Study Major for PhD Program will be a popular major amongst the doctorate students. (*)
