Gowes Dodolan Kampung is the local government way to take the visitors go deeper into the urban area in bike. With this program the visitors will be taken to ride their bike around narrow lane in the city. during this time, the guide will take you to see the local heritage buildings and some souvenirs shops.

The track will be sttarted from Yogyakarta City Hall to Prenggan. You will be taken to some narrow lane in the city. by this time, you wil be able to spot some heritage building like Pendopo Kajengan, Pendopo Sopingen, the Joglo House, Limasan House and Perak Mosque of Kotagede.

"Just make sure to follow the safety guidelines. And the use of mask will be forced the whole time during your riding," Retnaningtyas , an official of Setda Yogyakarta said on Friday (7/1/2022).

For all this time, this bike riding has been used as the local government's way to stay close to the society. They will do this activities at least once in a week and greet the locals.
