"We have eight permanent employees and around ten freelancers. Our production capacity is 3,000-3,500 pillows per month," Roisul shared with TIMES Indonesia on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

One of the unique aspects of Bantal Moker is the variety of designs available. Customers can choose from embroidered pillows, character-themed pillows, and custom designs. The business now offers over 100 different variants, catering to diverse customer preferences.

Initially driven by his passion for sewing, Roisul designed a pillow for his unborn child, which eventually evolved into his business.

Expanding Market Reach

Roisul leverages social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and e-commerce sites to market his products. His pillows are well-known in Mojokerto and have reached cities like Surabaya, Jombang, and Gresik. Additionally, his pillows are used as souvenirs by umrah and hajj travel agencies. The pillows are priced between IDR 25,000 and 35,000 each.

Currently, Roisul is participating in the Pertamina UMK Academy 2024. His motivation for joining this event is to continue learning and updating his knowledge in line with modern trends. "I also aim to expand my business network and seize broader networking opportunities for business advancement," he said.

"I hope to gain more confidence and courage to advance my business, equipped with knowledge from experienced mentors, leading to more precise business calculations. Participating in a national event with Pertamina is a significant opportunity," he added.
