Telkomsel Online Ready Package is Presented for Go-jek Partners

TIMESINDONESIA, SURABAYA – Go-Jek cooperates with Telkomsel to develop synergy through self-help program Ready package online. It is in order to accommodate the increasing needs of internet access for driver partners.

Telkomsel  Online Ready Package is selected based on internal data owned by Go-Jek. Because, more than 80% of driver partners spend more than Rp 150,000 each month and 62% of partners use data packets over than 10 GB.

"The variety of initiatives and adjustments continues by us to make more than one million of Go-Jek partners having competitiveness and become the main choice for the society," said Michael Say, VP Coorporate Communication Go-Jek, on Friday13th of July, 2018.

To realize the aspirations to assist driver partners in reducing pulse and telecommunication costs, Go-Jek has cooperated with Telkomsel in providing affordable pulse packages.

The cost of pulse is one of the basic needs of online motorcycle taxi drivers who need data packets to keep on-line to get orders and to contact consumers.

"This is our first step helping partners to have sustainable income," added Jaka Wiradisuria, Vice President of Driver Community of Go-Jek.

Jaka then added that Go-Jek's cooperation with Telkomsel is appropriate. Because the cellular operator has the widest network spread across the country and has quality data services that can further facilitate the activities of the driver's partner.

Online Ready Packages is the follow up of Go-Jek and Telkomsel's previous cooperation, in which Telkomsel provides a number of starter packages for Go-Jek's driver partners.

Online Ready Packages are then specially prepared to accommodate the mobility and use of the driver's Internet data access that highly increased. Through the Online Ready Package, the driver's partner can get a communication package at an affordable price of only Rp 75,000, through special access USSD Menu Browser (UMB).

The cooperation between Go-Jek and Telkomsel reaches all driver partners throughout Indonesia, including in Surabaya.
