Now, you can make calls and video calls with up to four people at once. Then how do the WhatsApp's latest features work? 1. Start a voice call conversation or one-on-one video call

2. Tap the new "add participant" button in the top right corner, and tap the "add participants" option.

3. Search or select another contact you want to add to the ongoing call.

4. When you receive a voice / video call, the voice call or WhatsApp video call that is entered will show the current participant who is calling. And the first contact listed is the participant who has added you to the conversation.

5. During a group voice call, you will not be able to divert calls to video calls.

6. During the video call group, you have the option to turn off / deactivate your camera by tapping the "Turn off the camera" icon.

7. You cannot delete contacts during a call group voice / video call. Your contact must close their phone to disconnect from the group call.

8. The voice / video call history of the call group will appear on the call tab. You can tap the call history to see each contact from the ongoing call.

9. Although it is possible to be in a group voice / video call with someone you blocked, you cannot add contacts to the calls that you block or contacts that have blocked you.

10. Voice calls and call group videos are encrypted edge-to-edge, similar to the usual WhatsApp chat application.

WhatsApp says that it has designed the WhatsApp call and video call feature to be able to work reliably around the world in different network conditions.
