TIMESINDONESIA, BANYUWANGI – The beauty of Ijen Blue Fire has enchanted people from around the world to come and see its magnificent scenery. this place has attracted millions of people to come and witness its magical blue flame. However, recently the local management has issue a warrant for the visitors for the flame occurring a bit early.
People will let their slumber at night taken to see this beautiful attraction. They had to hike early in the morning, right after the middle of the night to be able to see the blue fire themselves. However sometimes they have to be disappointed for the blue flame didn’t show its beauty for a long time.

Commonly, the visitors will be taken to climb up to the crater at 3.00 a.m local western times. Yet, staring on early May, the local management issued some new information for the hikers to start climbing up by 02.00 a.m. This information was applied since April 30, 2022.
During this holiday season, the BBKSDA or the management of Ijen Blue Fire said that they keep limiting the number of the visitor that climb up to the crater though the Covid-19 has been lowering its spike. They only take online ticket and limit the number of the ticket they sell in a day.
"For those who bought the ticket offline, we won't allow them to climb up," the BBKSDA management explained by phone. They also explained that all the visitors should follow the safety guidelines and bring some procedural kits like flashlight, jacket, mask, and more.
Last but not least, the visitors should have been fully vaccinated to be able to watch the beauty of Ijen Blue Fire Banyuwangi. With all these terms and conditions, the blue flame is such a worth thing to see which will give you long lasting memory for the rest of your life. (*)
