TGIPF: Tear Gas is the Cause of Death During the Soccer Tragedy in Kanjuruhan

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – The Join-Fact Finding Team or known as TPIGF has made a conclusion we have all thought for this long. After doing some further research more than a week they conclude that the tear gas was the main cause of so many people died during the soccer tragedy in Kanjuruhan Stadium.

The tragedy which took place on Saturday (1/10/2022) took around 132 people dies and more than 600 having minor to severe injuries. The chief of TGIPF said that all the victims die from dense of crowd while they were running to safe their life out of the stadium. 

"The level of the impact of the tear gas to the human is still being inspected by the BRIN, however the result will not change our conclusion that the main cause of the numerous numbers of victim died was caused by the tear gas," Mahfud said.

Mahfud said that TGIPF has kept a more terrifying footage other than those spread on the internet. "We found a person collapse, and the process of them fainted and down to the grown was absolutely atrocious than those you found on the internet," Mahfud added. 

He also said that the footage was collected from 32 CCTV they found in the crime scene. Mahfud also disappointed on how some people keep blaming each other than. They kept telling us that they have done the right thing by assuring the real letter of agreement before the game.

"People keep accusing and stating that they have done the right thing according to the agreement or those things written by FIFA," Mahfud explained. 
In this case, Mahfud appealed PSSI and their team to take one step down and responsible for what had happened on the soccer tragedy at Kanjuruhan stadium. This means either in moral or constitution.

He also underlined that the president of Indonesia Joko Widodo willing this case to be solved by Indonesian police and rise the case. The people involved and responsible during the tragedy should have been convicted and get what they deserved.

"TGIPF had lots of evidence which could help the Indonesian Police in doing their case. We would like to appeal everyone to take a further step needed as one of their moral responsibilities to the community," Mahfud ended. 

For your information, the soccer tragedy at Kanjuruhan Stadium has made 132 people died. 596 people got minor to medium injuries and 26 of them in severe condition. As for now there were only 9 people left treated in the hospital, meanwhile the other do a further treatment and checkup. (*)
